Should I get a fixed price or estimate?
Both options have pros and cons. We prefer to offer an estimate for a range for reasons including
- It allows us to give you the best price possible without having to pass on risk margins which will cost you more.
- We use a quantity surveyor to provide a comprehensive estimate for your job giving you full transparency for you and your bank.
- Sometimes you change your mind and we don’t want to get in your way.
- We’re confident our team will work quickly and efficiently.
- It’s less risky for both parties.

Is it best to choose the lowest quote or estimate?
When it comes to building, there are so many factors to consider before selecting your builder. What’s most important is that your choosing a team that you trust and that you enjoy working with, because when you select the best team for the job, you’re better off in the long run and a higher quote from a reputable company will lead to more money in your pocket or profit in the bank because it’s been built right from the start, an important aspect to consider for resale value.
